Tango is much more than steps - it`s the art of moving through the music!
Use the principles of biomechanics & biodynamics to become a better dancer!

LET`S MAKE MUSIC VISIBLE!
By blending technique with musicality, I aim to elevate your dancing experience and deepen your connection on the dance floor. Understanding movement with body awareness allows us to adapt them to the different rhythms (regular movements: beats, double time, compas, pulse... irregular movements: simple syncopations or complex one) that music offers us (tango, vals, milonga). Through an efficient and functional use of the body your steps become precise, the communication in the couple clear and you can play with the music from a very comfortable and flexible place.

MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
My teaching methodology combines classical techniques with modern approaches into a unique concept of movement. It is based on a functional technique grounded in the principles of biomechanics and biodynamics (the body’s natural movement principles), enabling a harmonious and relaxed dance free from structures that are not functional to the couple's movement. The focus lies on the deconstruction of movement, the development of individual body awareness, the refinement of communication within the couple, and the integration of technique with musicality. Movements are built from a clear conceptual understanding and developed into both simple and complex elements (e.g. ochos, boleos, turns, ganchos, sacadas).
The body center acts as the engine of movement, allowing efficient use of strength, improved coordination, and precise, controlled execution of movement without using force or physical effort. An optimized posture allows for efficient use of body strength and helps prevent injuries. Increased body awareness refines nonverbal communication and sensitivity within the couple. Many commonly taught steps and sequences do not work immediately because they lack an understanding of how movement is naturally organized in the body.
My methodology therefore teaches how movement functions before teaching what to dance.

MY EXPERIENCES AS A TANGO DANCER & TEACHER
I am a teacher, choreographer and dancer with 37 years of national and international experience. Born in Buenos Aires, I made my debut as a dancer in the Amphitheatre Mataderos in 1989 at the age of 15. Among my maestros were Juan Carlos Copes, Antonio Todaro, Gustavo Naveira and Mariano `Chicho`Frumboli.
1999 I moved to Europe, based in London and Palermo I founded a school of Argentine Tango in Paris (l`Ecole Tango de Paris) and in Palermo. I travel regularly as a guest teacher to give classes, seminars and shows in more than 30 cities around the world.
In Argentina I am a current teacher at Escuela Mundial de Tango, one of the most prestigious Tango Schools in Buenos Aires.
For several years I danced Tango Milonguero, Tango Salon and Tango Escenario, therefore I am familiar with different tango styles. With time my own dance style expanded and I started to explore the natural movement of the human being - so called organical movement - and experimented to find out how do two persons move together, what is the generator in one`s body that triggers a particular movement in the other body. Through this exploration I created my own concept of movement in tango dancing and developed my own method of teaching.
